"Photography sometimes has the chance to shine a light on things that might not be seen on first glance. In this case, the flashbulbs reveal the extraordinary sculptural craft through transparency."

"The body, this most specific of objects, expresses, through the movement that animates it, the interior life taking place within. Life is movement, life is dance."

 Château de Blérancourt

"I have been photographing this museum under renovation for a number of years. It will reopen this year having been closed for nearly ten years. It's very enjoyable to take photos of spaces from time to time: the approach and the ingredients that allow you to take a good photo are totally different from those photographing objects or paintings. This brings a change that I appreciate. Composition and the interaction of coloured expanses. I very much like the presence of this fine tree in the middle of all of these abstract lines."

► Pocket spyglass in its case

"I can't stop myself from thinking that this spyglass belonged to a Pirate of the Caribbean. In short, this object takes me back to my childhood a little bit."
